A 750 mL bottle of sparkling wine pours six standard flutes, or eight smaller toasting pours. For 20 guests, three bottles is the minimum; four is safer. Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut is the classic choice. Chill it for at least three hours, and keep one bottle back in case of a slow first pour.

Fuel for the party

Getting everyone home
Transit runs extended service in many GTA cities on New Year's Eve, and ride-share prices peak right after midnight. Encourage guests to plan their ride before the countdown. Every delivery requires valid ID from someone 19 or older.
